Ofer Rosenbaum, chairman of the Civil Front movement, demanded that the terrorists responsible for the October 7 massacre should face the death penalty, according to Israel National News.

“The death penalty for terrorists is no longer a matter of right or left; it is a matter of existence and survival in the face of the new reality that we all woke up to five weeks ago,” Rosenbaum said. “The biggest shock for me was when the Tel Aviv municipality refused to allow us to set up the essential display to commemorate the memory of the murdered and demand that their deaths should not be in vain. In the coming days, we plan to hold additional events throughout the country as part of the movement’s process of growth.”

Ofer Rosenbaum is known for controversial media in Israel. One statement he made seems prescient on a 2020 controversial billboard campaign which said, “Peace is only made with defeated enemies.” In the billboard campaign, he won court backing for his right to express his speech after the mayor had them removed.

TribunalForum, as the paper of record for war crimes tribunals of those participating in the October 7 attacks and those thereafter against Israel, covers procedural and substantive matters related to any such tribunal.

Rosenbaum’s latest effort may be more successful than his 2020 campaign. Had that worked, then the as-depicted blindfolded and captured Haniyeh might not have been able to lead his HAMAS organization to commit the crimes of October 7.
