At a press conference this morning at the Jerusalem Press Club, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office spokesperson Eylon Levy promised that the surrendering HAMAS fighters would face justice.

He has said that before, but with far less precision.

Previously, in a response to TribunalForum’s question on December 10, 2023, when asked specifically about war crime tribunals, Levy said: “We announced they will be brought to justice, justice takes many forms.”

When asked what would happen to those who had surrendered, Levy said many already had, and those who did “will be brought before a court of law.”
