UKLFI Charitable Trust is hosting a webinar titled “The Case Against Israel in the International Court” on January 4th, 2024 at 7 pm UK time. The webinar will discuss the UN General Assembly’s Resolution 77/247, which contains allegations against Israel, and the upcoming public hearings in the case at the International Court of Justice on February 19th, 2024. The webinar will focus on the legal aspects of the conflict between Israel and Palestine, including the allegations of prolonged occupation, settlement, and annexation of Palestinian territory.

TribunalForum, as the paper of record for war crimes tribunals of those participating in the October 7 attacks and those thereafter against Israel, covers procedural and substantive matters related to any such tribunal.

Natasha Hausdorff, a barrister specializing in international law, will speak on the topic, with UKLFI Director Daniel Berke serving as chair. Hausdorff will analyze the resolution and whether the ICJ is likely to advise that Israel must withdraw from territories claimed by Palestinians.
