The CEO of TribunalForum‘s Publisher Judiciocracy LLC, Edward “Coach” Weinhaus, announced today that the October 7 trials in Israel would precipitate the restarting of TribunalForum’s news coverage. Further, Coach stated that SLAMM, the Sinai Legal Association of Memory and Modernity would be TribunalForum‘s key partner.

TribunalForum‘s news launched in 2023, just fewer than two months after the October 7 Hamas invasion of Israel. However, due to a dearth of news, Coach paused news coverage to focus on Judiciocracy’s other legal publications.

The Knesset recently passed legislation (English translation) calling for trials of those responsible for the invasion and its commensurate acts precipitated the change.

“Shortly after covering the ICJ hearing at the Hague [in January 2024], we made the difficult decision to pause. Fortunately, Dr. Amon and I were able to found SLAMM in the meantime, which will be crucial to having the resources to cover the trials for an English language audience,” Coach said.

The SLAMM duo of Coach and Dr. Amon penned the original editorial guidance for the publication.  In a December 3, 2023 opinion piece, Coach and Amon also pleaded for the Israeli nation to seek justice rather than vengeance: “As difficult as it may be at this moment to publicly commit to a fair trial, due to emotions and the sheer horror of what transpired on October 7, this is the time for Israel to do so.”

SLAMM’s activity has already made waves away from US shores. In May 2026, SLAMM sponsored StopSecrecy.org‘s investigation into the refusal of Birmingham UK authorities to allow any Maccabi Tel Aviv fans to attend the Nov. 2025 match against Aston Villa. SLAMM discovered that it was a Palestinian activist group’s threatening behavior, not that of the Israeli fans, that precipitated the initial “zero” policy.

Coach says, “The mission is unchanged. With the passage of the new law, it seems history has caught up to us. Now it is time for us to step up and provide complete English language news coverage for, if nothing else, posterity.”

Dr. Isaac Amon is a former United Nations staffer and served as a Legal Atrocity Crimes Investigator for an NGO from 2019-2021. Coach was a credentialed journalist on Capitol Hill and has founded multiple news organizations, including Judiciocracy. Both  have three degrees from Washington University School of Law, including research doctorates.

TribunalForum‘s coverage has been focused on legal arguments and due process, including one of its most-viewed articles relating to the legislation that would have denied defense counsel to prisoners in 2024.

The recent law allows defense counsel but prohibits the public defender’s office from serving in that capacity.
